With summer in full swing, a number of fun events are heading to Canmore. Here's a look at what's happening in Canmore over the next little while!

Flat City Folk @ Good Earth Café

Friday, July 18 @ 7:30pm
Flat City Folk light up the Good Earth Café with their unique folky sound. Spanning the genres of bluegrass, folk, country, rock and jazz, these diverse musicians will be sure to delight. Admission by donation!

SUP CUP @ Quarry Lake Park

Sunday, July 20 @ 9:00am
Come out and enjoy Canmore's first annual SUP CUP--a stand-up paddle boarding race located in the incredibly beautiful Kananaskis wilderness. This competition is open to all skill levels! $30/person entry. For more information, check out the Bow Valley SUP CUP website.

Kananaskis Country Parks Day @ Willowrock Campground

Celebrate Parks Day--a national day commemorating the beauty of Canada's parks--in a region for which its parks are world-renowned. This free event is geared towards all ages and will feature wildlife educational programs, outdoor games, fishing demos and even the chance to see some wildlife up close! Visit for more information.

Eye-Max Realism, An Exhibition by Hubert Nanzer @ The Avens

Join Hubert Nanzer at The Avens will be showcasing his powerful landscape paintings, which draw inspiration from iconic mountain rangers around the world.
